Starting to stress.....

My last week of school is coming up and I am excited yet stressed out. I have my lab practical on Tuesday that I have been studying basically non-stop for and I'm still afraid that once I get there on Tuesday, that I will draw this complete blank and forget everything. Work is also stressing me out a bit because I still don't know if I've been transferred yet. My manager called and basically raved about me, but they said that they would have to talk to the store manager and then they'll call back. If they don't hear by Tuesday they will hopefully call back.

So, this weekend I'm heading up to Fort Collins to visit Mila and go to Water World on Saturday. It will be fun, I think. I haven't been to Water World since middle school, so we'll see if it's as fun as I remember it to be...haha.

August 11th is my last day of work, so I'll have 2 weeks of no school or work which will be nice. Maybe I'll make a day trip up to Greeley and visit everyone that's there one day. Who knows what will happen. I don't know when I'll be back up there for good...I guess it all depends if my transfer is succesful. If it's not, I might have to go up early and look for another job, or heaven forbid go back to the dining hall. I really don't want to do that though. I hoping that my managers will push to have me transfer. Blah, I hate this so much...I just can't wait until everything is over.

Well, that's pretty much everything for now. I went to one of my co-worker's bridal shower today and it got me all excited for Kara's wedding! YAY! Anywho, I hope I see you all soon and have a good rest of the summer!

Blah...this sucks

So, this weekend has been extremely sucky. Actually, Saturday was okay except for the fact that now I have a giant bruise on my foot from when we all tried to escape from Ashley's house unseen (it was no one's fault, but it still hurt).

Yesterday was really the crappy day. I only worked from 9:30-3 and in that 5 1/2 hours everything went to shit. Customers were bitchy, and I can now say that in the 3 summers I've been at Bed, Bath and Beyond one of my co-workers actually made me cry. He was being such a dick to me yesterday and I have no idea why. The last thing he did was hang up on me when I was trying to get him to bring up something for a customer and then he left it in the cart (and it was a heavy item) so the customer had to lift it up for me so I could get the parts he needed out of it. I left at 3:15 before the customer had been fully helped, passed him onto another supervisor and got in my car and cried on the way home. It was crap.

Then I had a quiz today that I only did bad on because I mixed up some letters in the answers. I hate teachers that count spelling epecially when the word is oligdendrocytes. I confused the 'l' an the 'g' and he knows what I mean, but he's still going to count it wrong because it isn't spelled correctly. I just hope I pass, that's all I have to say. Now, I have THREE cadaver worksheets to fill out and type up for tomorrow. You can say I'm stressing.

Well, I should get to finishing my worksheets, so I can get them out of the way and do nothing for the rest of the day. I hope everyone had a better weekend than me!

I'm quasi-bummed....

Yeah, so slightly bummed out because my manager couldn't give me the 4th and the 5th off of August, so I have to work from 9-3 on Friday (which isn't bad because Mila has class until 5 anyway, but that means I can't really stop in Greeley and visit Kara and Dave and I was all planning on seeing them). Oh well...I guess work has to come first (I wish it didn't though...blah!)

I am really kind of anxious to get back to Greeley. I really want to get all my stuff in my room and get it all set up...I am so excited for my HUGE closet (as opposed to last year when I didn't really have a closet). I really want to talk to my manager about my transferring so I know that it's set and I don't have to worry about it anymore! Grr! I'll hopefully see her soon, and if not, I might just call her on a day that she's in and ask her about it because it's getting towards the end of my time there and I don't want to be screwed over and have to work at TK again...ick!

Time for an update...

Actually, not much has been going on lately. Work is pretty good. I just have to talk to my manager about a definite transfer date. I was going to talk to her tonight, but she was way too busy to be even bothered with it. I just want it to be set in stone so I don't have to worry about it anymore. School has been sucking, but only about 3 more weeks of it left. I had a test today that I think went okay, but of course you never know.

Mila is coming into town on the 22nd and I can't wait to see her! We're going to lunch and then a movie and then she's having a party at her house with all the high school people, so that should be good. I'm going up to see her on August 4th and then we're going to go to Water World on the 5th, so that should be fun. I might make a pit stop in Greeley on the 4th and visit Kara and Dave and whoever else might be up there at that point.

Well, that's pretty much all the news on my life for now. Pretty boring, but I guess that can be a good thing. I have school tomorrow, so I should probably cut this short for now...blah. I hope I see you all soon!

Best freaking movie EVER!!!

So, last night I saw Pirates 2 with Chris and Sherean and many others and it was the best movie EVER! I would definitely see it again if the opportunity came up and I am definitely going to buy it when it comes out on DVD.

Anyway, not much else has been going on. School is really sucking a lot lately, but hopefully it will be done soon and hopefully I can pass it this time. Work is pretty good and they said that they will most likely be able to transfer me to the Greeley store, so no more dining hall!
