Oy..

So, work was shall we say interesting today. I got caught up in this thing at work that everyone is calling the Ashleigh-Ashley drama. Ashley (who is no longer with Bed, Bath and Beyond) is dating Ashleigh's fiance's best friend and Ashley basically told the entire store that she cheated on him. Ashleigh eventually found out and asked me and a few others if it was true. I, along with the others confirmed it. Well, with some sort of miscommunication/misunderstanding it somehow got around that I volunteered the information to Ashleigh and then Ashley somehow got wind that that's what happened and now hates my guts. She called my friend/co-worker Claudia asking for my phone number. Claudia so generously told her that she didn't have it (even though she does) and tried to explain to her that I didn't just volunteer the information to Ashleigh and that someone else told her about it and I just confirmed the information. Well, Ashley came in the store today to pick up her paycheck and let's just say it's a good thing it was slow and we had another cashier because I had to book it to the floor so she wouldn't see me. She did see me, though, and according to my friend/co-worker, Kristine, she gave me a really dirty look.

Well, I hung out with Ashleigh in her department for awhile and then she was going to go to Ashley and just explain the situation to her, but Ashley had already left and I was given the okay to go back to my register. Thankfully Ashley lives in Brighton so she won't be coming back. But yeah, I was definitely scared for my life for a moment, and I told my manager the story and he said he has my back if she ever came in again because he doesn't think I did anything wrong and neither does anyone else. I wasn't the only one who confirmed the information about it and in hindsight, I should have just told Ashleigh that I didn't know anything about it. Oh well.

Well, I have to be back at work tomorrow at 9, so I should probably get to bed. I hope everyone had a good day!
